Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The position includes management of multiple projects from the project initiation through project closing. Manage and oversee site superintendents while working on projects, and subcontractor management. Proficient in MS Project is mandatory.


Manage and monitor project from estimating to final commissioning

Manage and oversee employees while working on your project

Estimate project costs based on salesmen input

Hold or attend Kick-Off meeting

Assure engineering is complete

Schedule engineering review

Submit drawings for approval

Assure procurement is complete

Create project schedule

Manage resources using MS Project

Update Tech. manager project progress

Assigns Site-Superintendent to a project

Coordinate Electrical and Mechanical contractors

Coordinate initial installation with customer

Write Training Plan

Assure manuals ship and are signed in

Coordinate ships, both in-house and direct

Coordinate start-up

Schedule test

Assure all sign-offs are complete, as-builts are turned in


  • At least 4 years previous work experience in project management or related position
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Projects
  • Ability to write clearly about highly technical subject matter
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems installations
  • Capacity to analyze a problem from multiple perspectives and explore creative solutions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with a desire for excellence
